چکیده

Discretized representations of deformable objects, based upon simple dynamic point-mass systems, rely upon the propagation of forces between neighbouring elements to produce a global change in the shape of the surface. Attempting to make such a surface rigid produces stii equations that are costly to evaluate with any numerical stability. This paper introduces a new multilevel approach for controlling the response of a deformable object to external forces. The user speciies the amount of exibility or stiiness of the surface by controlling how the applied forces propagate through the levels of a multi-resolution representation of the object. A wide range of surface behaviour is possible, and rigid motion is attained without resort to special numerical methods. This technique is applied to the displacement constraints method of Gas-cuel and Gascuel 5] to provide explicit graduated control of the response of a deformable object to imposed forces.

A New Approach for Stress State - Dependent Flow Localization Failure Bounded Through Ductile Damage in Dynamically Loaded Sheets

In this paper, a new approach is proposed for stress state - dependent flow localization in bifurcation failure model bounded through ductile damage in dynamically loaded sheets. Onset of localized necking is considered in phenomenological way for different strain rates to draw the forming limit diagram (FLD). Using a strain metal hardening exponent in the Vertex theory related to the strain ra...

Seismic Performance Reliability of RC Structures: Application of Response Surface Method and Systemic Approach

The present study presents an algorithm that models uncertainties at the structural component level to estimate the performance reliability of RC structures. The method calculates the performance reliability using a systemic approach and incorporates the improved response surface method based on sampling blocks using the first-order reliability method and conditional reliability indices. The re...

کاربردی از مدل های رگرسیون لجستیک ترتیبی دوسطحی در تعیین عوامل موثر بر بار اقتصادی بیماری دیابت نوع دو در ایران

In recent years, multilevel regression models were intensely developed in many fields like medicine, psychology economic and the others. Such models are applicable for hierarchical data that micro levels are nested in macros. For modeling these data, when response is not normality distributed, we use generalized multilevel regression models. In this paper, at first, multilevel ordinal logist...
